Maureen McKay joined Pallett Valo, LLP in February, 2001 upon completion of her articles with the firm and call to the Bar.
She advises clients and assists them with the creation, organization and day-to-day operation of businesses and non-profit organizations, as well as asset and share transactions.
Maureen deals with the negotiation, preparation and enforcement of various types of contracts, including partnership and shareholder agreements, franchise agreements, consulting agreements, financing agreements and agreements of purchase and sale.
She has a background in administrative law and particular interest in new technologies and related intellectual property issues.
Maureen is a graduate of the University of Toronto and received her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School (1999). She has presented numerous seminars and has researched, written and edited legal publications dealing with administrative law, franchising and other corporate/commercial topics.
